Leisurely walk along low-traffic roads to the charming village of Weißenbach, which is decorated with lovely details. Take some care on the "penultimate" stage, as this road is a bit busier. But does not detract from the beauty of the hike.

Popis trasy

Starting from Aich, the route first heads north to the so-called Millereck. From there, turn left into Langtrum and continue in a westerly direction past the Pflanzgarten to the entrance to the Gradenbachtal (junction Sonnberg). Here in a southwesterly direction to the village of Weißenbach. At the small chapel in Weißenbach turn left. Follow the road until you reach the bridge across the Enns river. Cross it and then turn left immediately. First along the Enns, then along a dirt road and finally a short stretch on an asphalt road back to the village of Aich.

In winter, caution is advised even on seemingly easy hikes. In shady areas, the ground can be slightly icy, and there may be avalanche danger below slopes. Ankle-high, warm shoes. Waterproof, warm shoes with a treaded sole are ideal. Optional: Gaiters for additional snow protection.
A hood and warm clothing, ideally layered. Don't forget a change of clothes for longer winter hikes: a wind and waterproof jacket and trousers.
A small backpack with a warm drink in a thermos and snacks as needed

Optional: crampons/snow spikes (snow chains for shoes), telescopic hiking poles for better grip and balance.
