New Plannercross

Nature.Power.Place

The new Planner Cross as a viewpoint is located on the Planneralm and can be reached in about 30 minutes and 200 meters of elevation gain via the Plannersee path. From here, one can experience a summit experience and a view extending to the distinctive Grimming.

The Planneralm is the highest ski and mountain village in Styria, situated between 1,600 and 2,000 meters above sea level. Geologically, the Planner, as it is called by the locals, is characterized by graphite schist. In summer, hiking trails, 3D archery, a larch distillery, and a variety of medicinal herbs attract visitors. Masterwort, mountain mint, larch, blackberries, Icelandic moss, arnica, wild heather, raspberry bushes, thyme cushions, lady's mantle, and many more can be discovered along the way. Additionally, movement in the pure, low-pollen high-altitude air is particularly relieving for allergy sufferers.
