Churchruine Neuhaus

Nature.Power.Place

A short walk from Trautenfels Castle towards Grimminghütte is the Neuhaus church ruins: a testament to the underground Protestantism that persisted here for over a century and a half, beginning with the powerful Counter-Reformation around 1600. Even today, the highest concentration of Protestant Christians in Styria can be found in the Enns Valley.

THE RESONANCE EXERCISE
SPACES OF FREEDOM

For you

Find spaces inside and outside the remains of the walls that visually convey a sense of freedom and strength.
Then, at each place, take a firm stance and stretch your arms in all directions (as if a large ball were being filled with arms and hands around your shoulders).
Rest in the "place of freedom" that feels most powerful to you. Allow emerging thoughts to drift into freedom in a relaxed manner.
For groups or families

The Power Line – for larger groups: The group forms a channel or line. Starting at the back and alternating from the right and left sides, the participants walk through the line one by one, and everyone applauds. Once they reach the front, they line up again on the right or left side from where they started.

Imagining the The "large ball" around the shoulders as a guiding structure creates increased stretching in all directions – even in those that are used less frequently.
Mental

Strengthening self-confidence
Strengthening awareness of one's own space and its extensibility
QUESTION OF THE HEART
Am I able to accept my perceptions during the exercise or release them into freedom?
