The tour

Beautiful tour, where long climbs alternate with beautiful descents. It leads through alpine pastures to the Styrian Bodensee.

Important note: There is a pasture passage on the route (between Gössenberg and Galsterberg) where the bike has to be pushed around the corner standing on the back wheel. With heavy e-bikes, this process requires a certain amount of force. The pushing of the back wheel is best done with the back wheel brake pulled. We are working on a solution that is satisfactory for the farmer and cyclist. We apologize for the inconvenience!

New MTB Signage in Progress
The installation of the new MTB signage, which also includes updated loop numbers, is currently underway. These changes are already reflected in the new 2025 tour brochure. However, minor discrepancies may still occur on-site due to the presence of the old (green) signage. We kindly ask for your understanding.

Turn-by-turn directions

Starting at the village square in Aich, this tour heads across the Enns River towards Weissenbach, where the Jumper Trail awaits. This flowy, adrenaline-pumping trail has a 5 € fee, but is free to ride with the Sommercard.

After the fun descent on the Jumper Trail, cross the Enns again towards Ruperting, where the climb up to Gumpenberg begins. This challenging ascent leads through the tranquil Gumpental and eventually reaches the picturesque Styrian Bodensee – a perfect spot for a refreshing break or a cool dip in the clear mountain waters.

From the Bodensee, the route continues along the paved road to Gössenberg before climbing further towards the Galsterberg. Once at the top, enjoy the thrilling downhill ride to Pruggern.

The final stretch is a relaxed cruise along the Enns Cycle Path, leading you back to your starting point at the village square in Aich.
