Once a year, Schladming is transformed into the centre of the ski world and becomes the venue for what is probably the most spectacular ski race in the entire World Cup winter. The Nightrace on the Planai attracts thousands of enthusiastic ski fans from all over the world who want to experience the unique flair of this event up close.

Hours before the start, the Planai stadium is filled with goosebumps. The excitement builds as the world's best slalom athletes venture to the starting gate and race down the legendary piste at top speed.

But the race is just the beginning! After the award ceremony, the whole town becomes a stage: the legendary ski party with live music, DJs and an exuberant atmosphere ensures that the night in Schladming remains unforgettable. Here, not only the night becomes day, but also a place where passion, sport and celebration merge.

Arrive early and enjoy the unique atmosphere. All information on how to get there will be published shortly under the following links: 

Visitors arriving by car will be guided to the car parks by the police from the entrances to Pichl an der Enns and Haus im Ennstal. All car parks are within reasonable distance of the stadium.

Entry to the event area with animals, backpacks, food or drinks of any kind, especially alcoholic beverages, fireworks, Bengal fires or umbrellas is prohibited.

For safety reasons, small children on the shoulders of adults or in prams are not allowed in the sectors or in the stands.

Information for guests with special needs

Instead of general guidelines, the organising committee tries to offer individual solutions; this also explains why there is no special sector in the Night Race stadium plan.
