ORF Radion Steiermark Gipfeltreffen & Ramsauer Almtag
An exciting alpine adventure program awaits visitors at the “Radio Steiermark Summit Meeting” in Ramsau am Dachstein - with lots of music, wonderful hikes and culinary delights. Radio Steiermark broadcasts a “Frühschoppen” and numerous live contributions from Ramsau am Dachstein.
On Sunday, July 6, it's time for the 14th “Radio Styria Summit Meeting”! Lots of music, wonderful hikes, culinary delights and a morning pint - accompanied by the ORF Styria folk culture team led by Paul Prattes - are traditionally on the program. A joint kick-off hiking day on Saturday, 5 July, a musicians' get-together and a few more attractions round off the festival weekend - organized by ORF Styria and the Schladming-Dachstein Tourism Association - which has established itself as a popular fixture in the Styrian summer.

Hiking day & Ramsauer Almtag
A musical hike with the ORF Radio Styria folk culture presenters!
On Saturday, July 5, 2025, the traditional Ramsauer Almtag will take place in the Ramsau alpine pasture area: Various local music groups will play at five huts! The ORF Styria folk culture presenters invite you to hike to the rustic and cozy huts of the Ramsau Almtag.
Singing and music are played in the huts:
- Türlwandhütte - Kreuzberg Blos
- Südwandhütte - Steirisch Echt
- Glösalm - Hubs und Gust
- Brandalm - Zwicklhof Musi
- Walcheralm - Sonntagsmusi
Hiking program
- Arrival from Ramsau Ort (09.10, 09.40) to the Ramsau Alm area with the 960 bus (subject to charge)
- 10.00: Meeting point with welcome at the Türlwandhütte
- from 11.00: Hikes to the other huts
- Return journey from Türlwandhütte (13.50, 15.00, 16.10, 17.20) to Ramsau Ort with the 960 bus (subject to charge)
Once again this year there will be a musicians' get-together in the evening from approx. 19:00 in the Ederstube. All musicians, singers, Schuhplattler, dancers, listeners and anyone else who is interested are cordially invited to attend.

Radio Steiermark Gipfeltreffen with live morning pint
The big summit meeting begins on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at 11.00 am at the Dachstein Event Center with the Radio Steiermark-Frühschoppen, hosted by Paul Prattes and the ORF Styria folk culture team. Regional delicacies and specialties are offered in the Dachstein Event Center and surrounding restaurants. Afterwards there are hikes, carriage rides as well as music and singing in Ramsau am Dachstein.

- Hike to the Waldcafé Liftstüberl: Walking time approx. 1 hour
- Walk to the Ederstube: Walking time approx. 20 minutes
- to the Ramsau Stub'n: Walking time approx. 10 minutes
Carriage rides
- from 12.00 to 17.00 free of charge between Ramsau Ort and the restaurants
