HoamArt - music without borders, but with heart
What happens when four versatile musicians come together and simply play what moves them? The result is HoamArt - a heartfelt project by Astrid Schachner, Kathi Wolff, Ursula Wöhrer and Franzi Lemmerer, born from the idea of a “commissioned performance” and grown into a unique musical ensemble.
The Corona period brought a phase of pause for many - including us. An opportunity to break new ground, experiment musically and find out where the journey could take us. Traditional folk music? Chart hits? Old rags or perhaps jazz? Why decide when there's room for everything?
Our answer: we play what we like - and interpret each style in our own unique way. The focus is on polyphonic singing, framed by a special instrumentation: piano, double bass, Styrian harmonica, guitar, flute and clarinet merge into a sound that touches and surprises.
HoamArt is not a pigeonhole - HoamArt is a feeling. Music that connects. Music that rethinks home.
