Giorgio is not to be confused with Paolo.
Where the world star Paolo Conte stages himself, his little brother Giorgio scores with skillful understatement. He is one of the quiet ones in the country - a poet with a large dose of self-irony.

It all started at home in Asti in Piedmont: with his parents' records, French chansons, American jazz, which his father, a notary, improvised on the piano, and Italian folk music.

To this day, new albums are regularly released. Some of them have won awards, and Giorgio Conte has developed his unmistakable style.

This mixture of retro charm with French flair - a bit of the 20s, 30s, a bit of the "Roaring Fifties" and "Swinging Sixties":
a guest garden with colorful light bulbs, a dancing couple, the bearable lightness of being - that is perhaps Giorgio Conte's message.
Framed by nostalgia, peppered with irony and that fine, quiet humor.
