Sattelberghütte

Ramsau am Dachstein

The Sattelberghütte is the starting point of the family-friendly nature and environmental trail with its 17 stations. The approximately two-hour walk explains a variety of interesting natural phenomenon. You can also find the small Ramsauer Wasserwelt (water world) and the walk-in hollow lime tree trunk close to the hut.

From here, you can have a go at climbing the children Via Ferratas. The Sattelberghütte is open May to September and December to March from 11 am.

Closed on Saturdays in winter!

In summer 2020, the Sattelberghütte will offer an exclusive Sattelbergrolle - cream cheese wrapped in courgette slices and a salad refined with herb croutons.

Příjezd

Free parking available at the old mill, the starting point of the nature and environmental trail. Feichtl/Ortner is the closest bus stop. (5 min walk). The Sattelberghütte lies on the south side of the Sattelberg and offers a beautiful panoramic view of the Schladminger Tauern.

Fun little place for the kids and good food too

This was a fun little place for the kids. They loved the animals, playing on the giant slide and playing at the hollowed out tree house, that had a gate and stairs to go up inside! We topped it off woth delicious apple dessert with ice cream and ice coffee! Highly recommend

The hike to the Sattleberghutte was about 45 minutes from Ramsau and we did it together with our 2 year old son . Once we got up to the hutte we were really imressed with the amazing views and the cold beer . Our son played nice in the playground and he got to see some animals like pig, sheep , bunnies ,hens and rooster.

Eine super schöne Hütte, die besonders für die kleinen Gäste unheimlich viel zu bieten hat! Ein großer Spielplatz mit verschiedenen Möglichkeiten, viel zu entdecken, ein schönes Holzhaus mit vielen Motorikspielen, eine Riesenrutsche und ein hohler Baumstamm, in welchem geklettert werden kann. Noch dazu ein wenig Geschichte und Technik und ein paar Tiere, perfekt!

Nach einer schönen Wanderung ein wunderschöner Ort zum einkehren! Super freundlich, ein leckeres Essen ...was will man mehr ! Genügend Schattenplätze vor Ort.Ein Besuch auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen, Vielen Dank dafür 🤗

Die Sattelberghütte ist der ideale Abschluss vom spannenden Naturlehrpfad. Auswahl der Speisen und Getränke ist genau richtig, nicht zu groß, nicht zu klein und wunderbar abwechslungsreich. Die Lage mit großer Terasse inklusive herrlicher Aussicht und tollem Kinderspielplatz ist großartig. Bedienung und Service sind sehr zuvorkommend und kinderfreundlich. Wir kommen immer gerne wieder!

Wir haben schön im Schatten gesessen und etwas getrunken. Gut zum Pause machen. Die Karte ist klein, aber fein. Es gibt einen grossen Spielpltz für kleine und grosse Kinder. So kann man sich auch läger hier verweilen.
