Filming location - "Wild Waters"
5 RecenzeSchladming
Alongside Ramsau am Dachstein and the Stoderzinken, the “Wild Waters” are among the most impressive film motifs in the region. The alpine trail Durch die Höll leads along the mighty Riesach waterfall, where the water plunges over two impressive steps into the valley. The spectacular 50-metre-long suspension bridge has also provided unforgettable film scenes. This is an impressive natural spectacle, especially during the snowmelt in spring.
Sure-footedness and a head for heights are required for the ascent, but the route is also suitable for children and is therefore a popular hike for the whole family. This unique nature experience has earned the title “National Geographic Hiking Trail”.
In contrast to the Alpinsteig, the idyllic Riesachsee lake and the picturesque alpine pastures all around offer tranquil, atmospheric images that should hardly be missing from any series.
