In real life, it is the Hotel Lindenhof, a 4-star superior hotel run by the Eisl family. Located at the foot of the Dachstein massif, it offers a breathtaking backdrop and combines hospitality with an experience of nature.

Mountain rescue plays a central role in the life of the Eisl family. Heribert Eisl himself was the head of the Ramsau mountain rescue team for many years and supports the series with his expertise as a consultant and safety officer. His family is also firmly rooted in mountain rescue: his two sons are active members and his daughter-in-law is training to become a mountain rescuer. This practical expertise and knowledge of the special features of the locations lend the series authenticity and depth of content.

There is no parking on site! The hotel can be reached via the mountain rescuers' circular hiking trail.
