Avalanche Beacon Training
In this one-day avalanche course, you'll learn essential skills for efficient companion rescue—from correctly using an avalanche beacon (transceiver), probe, and shovel to providing initial first aid in an emergency.

Wednesday:
Snowpack Analysis
Together we'll closely examine the snowpack, perform various stability tests such as the Small Block Test and ECP, create a detailed snow profile, and then compare our results online with existing profiles on LAWIS.
