Dachstein run 2026

From 9 to 11 January 2026, the Ramsau Plateau will once again be all about cross-country skiing. The 40 km trail, perfectly groomed and set against a stunning winter backdrop, promises a memorable experience: "Pure enjoyment in a single run." For those who prefer shorter distances, the 10 km course offers a great alternative and can also be completed in teams. This year’s program also includes a Dachstein business run, inviting company teams to take part together. And for those who like to combine sport with pleasure, the Gourmet Run features culinary stations along the way.

The DACHSTEINLAUF takes up the idea of cross-country skiing in Ramsau am Dachstein and motivates all sports enthusiasts to become part of this unique event. A varied supporting program, ranging from children's races to a culinary pleasure run, as well as various competitions ensure that cross-country skiers of all skill levels - from professionals to amateur athletes to nature lovers - will find the right challenge.

• You can start individually at each event of the Dachsteinlauf.
• For the 10 km a team competition is also possible. 
• For each distance there is a classification, a ranking list according to classes and an award ceremony.
• The Culinary run: 5 km of the best trails, combining pleasure and culinary delights.
• Dachstein Business Run: 5 km – ideal for company teams looking to be active together
