100 years after the sinking of the Titanic, four disparate protagonists meet: the debt-ridden ice floe that triggered the disaster; the all-seeing Titan Themis, whose warnings were never heard, and the ambitious captain on his last voyage. Opposite them is the granddaughter - representing today's generation.
They negotiate over lobster and caviar. The granddaughter asks questions, seeks answers, wants to understand why we have repeatedly headed for disaster with our eyes wide open - and still do. Although it has long been clear that the last iceberg is already melting.
The sinking of the Titanic serves as a metaphor for a gripping, tragicomic social drama about guilt, generational conflicts and a convinced belief in progress - and, despite everything, searches for a prospect of a viable future.
