The Dachstein Museum, formerly the Alpine Museum, presents a new permanent exhibition. The new exhibition explores the diverse mountaineering connections to the Dachstein and the region. In addition to presenting the history of the Dachstein's development by the region and the Alpine Club, the new exhibition places familiar mountaineering topics in a new, contemporary light – and offers possible perspectives on the present and future of mountaineering life at the foot of the Dachstein.
