Kaibling Tour | 309
średnio trudne zamknięte Mountainbike · Haus-Aich-Gössenberg
This challenging tour starts at the valley station of Hauser Kaibling, passes through the center of Haus, and then steadily climbs uphill via Oberhaus to the summit. After more than 1000 meters of elevation gain, you are rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dachstein, the Grimming, and the Ennstal. The long descent leads through the Gumpental to the idyllic Styrian Bodensee and then gently back to the valley station – ideal for ambitious mountain bikers.
Note (valid for 2025): Due to the construction of the new Senderbahn and the associated construction traffic, the Kaibling Circuit is not recommended on weekdays in the summer of 2025.
New MTB Signage in ProgressThe installation of the new MTB signage, which also includes updated loop numbers, is currently underway. These changes are already reflected in the new 2025 tour brochure. However, minor discrepancies may still occur on-site due to the presence of the old (green) signage. We kindly ask for your understanding.
The tour starts at the valley station of Hauser Kaibling (Sport Hauser Kaibling) and first leads into the center of Haus. Here, the long climb to Oberhaus begins. From there, the route continues on a well-maintained gravel path all the way to the summit. Those who conquer the more than 1000 meters of elevation gain are rewarded with a fantastic view of the Dachstein, the Grimming, and the Ennstal. At the top, several guesthouses invite you to take a well-deserved break.
Afterwards, the long descent through the Gumpental leads down to the Styrian Bodensee. From there, the route continues on a paved road towards Ruperting and finally gently downhill back to the starting point at the valley station. This tour offers both athletic challenges and impressive views.
