Filming Location - the "Dachstein"

At 2,995 meters, the highest mountain in Styria impresses with its natural backdrop and gigantic panorama. The rescue missions up here not only challenge the mountain rescuers, but also the entire film crew.

The glacier was opened up to tourists in 1969 with the Dachstein Südwandbahn. Last year, the mountain station was extensively renovated and modernized, bringing the Dachstein into a new era. New installations such as the Half Dome Glome, a digital telescope and the energy crystal impressively highlight the effects of climate change.
