African Dance with Aliou Dieme

Experience the intoxicating world of African dance: Aliou Dieme combines the traditional dances and ritual gestures of the villages of West Africa with his unique dance style, creating a veritable firework display of joie de vivre. The focus of the seminar is on the joy of movement and the joy of dancing.

About Aliou Dieme: Aliou Dieme comes from Casamance, a green region in the south of Senegal. He attended the conservatory for dance and music and then studied traditional and modern dance, dance pedagogy, acting, movement improvisation and rhythm at the "Mudra Afrique" art college in Dakar. Aliou Dieme has lived alternately in Vienna and Senegal since 1987. He shares his extensive knowledge in courses throughout Austria and also in Senegal with both adults and children.
