Our 58 m2 non-smoking apartment for four people is located on the ground floor of a single-family house on the sunny high plateau of Mitterberg (Gröbmingerland, region Schladming-Dachstein). --- The rustic kitchen, featuring a large corner bench and extendable table, offers a cozy atmosphere that is perfect not only for shared meals but is also very popular among our guests as a living space for game nights, etc. It is well-equipped with a dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, bread machine, microwave, bread-roll oven, extractor fan, and all necessary dishes. --- Bedroom with a double bed, built-in wardrobe, lockable desk, and satellite TV. --- Living or sleeping area with satellite TV and a cozy couch that can perfectly serve as a sleeping option for two people, as it is double-sized and has a suitable bed height. --- Bathroom with a shower --- Separate toilet --- Storage room with a fridge-freezer combination. Free Wi-Fi! In summer, you can enjoy the garden terrace with panoramic views of Stoderzinken and Kammspitze. You can safely store your bicycles or ski equipment in the lockable garage.
In a quiet location away from through traffic, a cozy nest awaits you with a magnificent view of the surrounding mountain ranges, making it a delightful place to feel at home. The picturesque climate spa with meadows and forests not only offers sports enthusiasts an ideal starting point for numerous activities but is also recommended for families, children, and older individuals who wish to relax in peace. To ensure you can enjoy your stay in our house worry-free, pets are also welcome. The market town of Gröbming, with various shops, doctors, a pharmacy, and veterinarians, as well as an evangelical and a catholic church, is just under two kilometers away and is also easily accessible on foot.
Winter: Unlimited skiing fun is guaranteed when you ski on the world-class slopes of the 4-Mountain Ski Arena, which is part of Ski amadé (270 cable cars and 760 kilometers of pistes). The first entry point (Hauser Kaibling) to the 4-Mountain Ski Arena is only a 12-minute drive from the apartment. The 435 km network of cross-country ski trails offers ultimate enjoyment for cross-country skiers as they glide through the beautiful winter landscape. Pure enjoyment can also be found in ski tours, freestyle parks, tobogganing by day and night, ice skating rinks, horse-drawn sleigh rides, snowshoe hikes, tobogganing, snowmobiling, torchlit hikes, dog sledding trekking, and much more. A special highlight is the motorsport event “Planai Classic,” which takes place every year in early January, where celebrities and car enthusiasts drift with their classic cars on snow-covered and icy roads for two days.
Summer: Even in summer, the region offers vacationers and those seeking relaxation numerous possibilities. While the breathtaking alpine landscapes allow for limitless hiking enjoyment and the region's golf courses invite you to tee off, adventure seekers can get active with zip-line flights, mountain go-karting, horseback riding, biking, tennis, climbing, swimming, rafting, canyoning, paragliding, or in the high ropes course. For those seeking tranquility, the gradation facilities, barefoot path, and mini-golf course in the Gröbming spa park, as well as the Kneipp facility at the foot of Stoderzinken, offer relaxation and well-being. Particularly popular among spectators is the annual “Ennstal Classic” in July. Under the motto “Driving in the Last Paradise,” around 200 participants, including many stars and motorsport legends, steer their beautiful classic cars through the local mountainous terrain. A must for autograph collectors and photographers. Filming locations: The region is very popular among filmmakers. Besides several documentaries and films, numerous seasons of the series “Die Bergretter” were also shot here. The local population repeatedly had the pleasure of participating as extras. Hike in the footsteps of TV stars and visit the many filming locations in the region. Leave the stress of everyday life behind and enjoy the scenic beauty. Arrival
By car: Coming from the west via the Tauern Autobahn (A10), take the exit "Knoten Ennstal." Coming from the east via the Pyhrn Autobahn (A9), take the exit "Liezen." After leaving the A10 / A9 motorways, drive along the federal road B320 to Gröbming. Take the middle exit (signposted Mitterberg) and then turn left at the intersection. Continue following the road uphill to the district of Kaindorf. At the intersection (sign "Welcome to Mitterberg"), turn left twice. After about 400 m, following the road, you will find our house on the left side of the street (Kaindorf 30). Check-in: from 14:00 Check-out: until 10:00
