HELLwach – Hommage an Bodo HELL (HELLwach – Homage to Bodo HELL) is full of Austrian joie de vivre and tells of the world of thoughts of the writer, humanist, and alpine herdsman in his final years until shortly before his disappearance in August 2024 on the Dachstein. Filmmaker Carola Mair resonates with the artist and gets very close to Bodo Hell as a person in conversations. From Vienna to Dachstein, from literature to nature, from humor to seriousness. A film that immerses itself completely in Bodo Hell's humor, spirit, and intuition, which gives voice to everyday life and provides us with insight into himself and the house he inhabits, into the madhouse of our society.
